deserving beneficiaries of the Humpty Dumpty Duathlon. Bee for Battens We are delighted to be assisting the Bee for Battens Charity this year. Take a look on their website www.beeforbattens.org to see the great work they are doing. Kenmare Rugby Club Underage teams Kenmare Rugby club was formed recently on the strength of Kenmare winning the National Community Games Rugby Competition the first town to so do without a Rugby Club! The interest in the sport is currently very strong in Kenmare. This coming season will see Kenmare put out U13, U15 and U19 teams. Your support will help make this a reality. Kenmare Hospital Development Fund Kenmare has been promised an upgrade of our hospital for 30 odd years. A development fund was set up to assist with the extension to Kenmare Hospital. For the people of Kenmare the hospital is an essential service and one badly need of upgrading. |
 There's a new buzz about 2011 Humpty Dumpty... We are delighted to be assisting the Bee for Battens Charity this year. Take a look on their website www.beeforbattens.org to see the great work they are doing. There has never been a better reason to get out on that bike...  The 40 km cycle will commence at 12 noon and follow the N71 to Moll’s Gap for 10k, turning left past Avoca Cafe and onto the Sneem road, turning left for Blackwater and returning to Kenmare on the relatively flat coast road. The cycle will be started with a safety course car and racing will commence once car deems it to be safe. The 6km run will start at bike drop off and head out the Moll’s Gap road for 3km before turning right towards Kenmare Hospital/ Dromneavane and finish in the Square. |
